I've spent years leading teams at companies like Mural and Visual Blasters (FlipaClip), where I set up data strategies, worked with BigQuery, dbt, and Prefect, and partnered with revenue and marketing teams to define key goals. I love tackling complex data challenges and delivering reliable, scalable solutions.
At Mural, I led major projects like migrating over 300 pipelines from Redshift to Databricks, cutting time to market for our data platform, and implementing real-time analytics with tools like Trino and Spark. I also introduced machine learning models for PII detection, and developed infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes to keep everything secure and efficient.
Beyond work, I enjoy coding personal projects. Currently building fanfa.dev (animated Mermaid diagrams) and playn.blog (privacy-focused blogging). I also created "Should I Deploy Today?"a fun tool to help developers decide when to ship code. I'm also fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which helps me connect with teams across the globe!
